This former mayors house is bought in June, 2017. In that year we moved from Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Locmaria-Berrien, Bretagne.
After a year of tackling a lot, we have finished the house so much that we enjoy getting guests to visit us, and let them enjoy this fantastic environment.
La Colline des Renards is located just outside Locmaria Berrien on a hill in the Parc Naturel Régional d'Amorique in Finistère.
The coordinates: N 48º.35'46 / W 3º.68'65 .
Through the valley flows the river L'Aulne, along this river is a former railway that is now used as a bike path, this track (voie vert) goes from Roscoff to Concarneau, the V7, 147 km. That is from the north side to the south side of Brittany, we are about in the middle of it.
Two walking trails run directly past the house: Circuit des deux Vallees and Circuit de Botvarec
Because the house is located on a hill you have a beautiful view of the surroundings from the open garden.
The garden about 4000m2 offers several seating areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
In high season (± 1/2 June - 1/2 Sept.) the prices are little higher, the price mentioned is from.

La Colline des Renards offers rooms and a gîte. The rooms are equipped for 2 people. We would like you to stay at least for 2 nights.
'La Chambre Rouge' is fitted with a bathroom en suite with bath, shower and toilet, and 2 spaclous double bed.
'La Chambre Blanche is provided with a bathroom en suite with a big walkin shower and toilet, it can be equipped with 2 single beds or 1 big bed.
'La Chambre Bleue' has a shower with toilet space integrated in the room, and can also equipped with 2 singlebeds or 1 big one.
The Gîte is equipped for 2 adults ( children in consultation ) , it has a spacious bedroom a spacious bathroom with bath. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, induction stove, an oven, dishwasher and a microwave. Several other appliances are at your disposal on the worksheet, including a Nespresso coffee machine for a delicious coffee. A washing machine is also built underneath the worktop.
A pellet stove has been installed in the sitting room, and all rooms have radiators.
Above the kitchen is a mezzanine floor where 2 extra beds are placed, here is a TV and a DVD player (with us you can borrow DVDs) at your disposal. The TV has a orange connection for French TV and netflix.
It's possible to place a cot in the bedroom.
The Gite has a private terrace on both sides of the house, On the southeast (morning and afternoon sun) the other on the northwest (afternoon and evening sun) Both terraces have seats, tables and parasols. The northwest terrace also has a barbecue.
In main season the minimal stay 7 nights and in off season minimal 3 nights.
